Dan

Daniel Mandel’s legal career spans 4 decades commencing in 1981.  After graduating from the University of Miami School of Law, he worked for Bamman & Bowman which was a small boutique law firm in Broward County.  Shortly thereafter, he started his own firm in Ft. Lauderdale in 1983 (Mandel, Weisman & Brodie, P.A.) and a successor firm in 2006 though the present which is currently Mandel, Manganelli & Leider, P.A., of which he is the founding partner.
 
He specializes in the field of creditor’s rights.  Over the years he has represented many lenders, servicing agents, management companies and other clients in their collection and creditor needs.  In the 1980s and 1990s, he was a principal owner of 8 title insurance agencies including 4 InterState Title offices and 4 Stewart Title offices in south Florida.  Over his 39 year career, Dan has tried hundreds of cases in the state and federal courts.  He has multiple reported opinions from the various district courts of appeal.   He is admitted to practice in all state courts throughout Florida, the United States District Courts for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida, the United States Court of Appeals for the 5th and 11th Circuits and the Supreme Court of the United States of America.
 
From 1989 to 1995, Dan was on the faculty of Barry University Legal Assistant Program in Ft. Lauderdale teaching Real Estate and Real Estate Finance courses.  Over the years, Dan as been the managing partner of his law firms and overseen the administration of the practices in all respects.  He has been the guest speaker at various seminars and public industry engagements discussing various topics related to his field of expertise.  He has testified as an expert witness in over 10 cases throughout his career in the state courts on bankruptcy and real estate title issues.  He is an AV rated attorney through the Martindale-Hubbell rating service and has an exemplary career representing his long list of clients through the years.
